Soon after the October move, we participated in a Church Fair in Charleston at Old St. Paul's Church in West Ashley.
What a lovely setting to begin the book sales, and a wonderful opportunity to meet some of the local neighbors. (This church is one of the oldest in all of the Carolinas, dating back to early 1700's.)
Everyone was very welcoming, and it was a fun day!!
Rhymen's pledge to save his forest friends from environmental changes is an ideal way to teach young children about ecology and protecting wildlife. Rhymen amuses his friends with poetic speeches in: "Save The Forest," and "Meeting The Forest Ranger." A third book: "A Magnolia Gardens Wedding For Rhymen & Boo" shares a sweet tale of two of the characters at their romantic wedding in Charleston!
Rhymen The Rabbit
From: "A Magnolia Gardens Wedding For Rhymen & Boo":
After the ceremony, Rhymen sang a song to Boo as they looked up at a colorful rainbow overhead:
"With all the colors overhead, I'll say to you I'm glad we wed.
I no longer feel sad and blue, And that is all because of you."
